The New York Wind Symphony is collaborating once again with Emmy-nominated astronomer, Dr. José Francisco Salgado, to bring you another multi-media presentation. We will perform Modest Mussorgsky’s colorful, Pictures at an Exhibition as you view awe-inspiring, art-like images and science visualizations (ESA, NASA, NCSA) of the cosmos as well as his own astronomy-inspired artwork projected onto the large screen. Our popular “Play with the Pros” mini-concert will serve as a prelude to this exciting voyage!
