On Sunday, March 8th @ 3pm at the Sugar Loaf PAC,  the New York Wind Symphony is thrilled to call back to the stage, Mr. Joseph Alessi, principal trombonist of the New York Philharmonic, as we accompany him on the world premiere performance of Bramwell Tovey’s Lincoln Tunnel Cabaret for Solo Trombone and Wind Orchestra.

Then, The New York Wind Symphony Honors Chorus joins us for a presentation of Vincent Persichetti’s powerful cantata based on the poetry of Walt Whitman, Celebrations. We will open this exciting and eclectic concert by revisiting the music of Gustav Holst with a unique performance of his Second Suite for Military Band in F Major.
